Our goal is to make a positive contribution to the life of those who experience musculoskeletal pain and to limit the effect that this pain can have on their general health.

If you are unsure what we do, a chiropractor is trained to diagnose, treat, manage and prevent disorders of the musculoskeletal system (bones, joints and muscles) as well as the effects they can have on the nervous system and general health. When you are assessed the chiropractor will also take your whole physical, emotional and social well-being into account when deciding on an appropriate course of treatment.

When you first attend the clinic the chiropractor will take you through a consultation which starts with an examination to identify your problem areas, the findings will then be discussed with you and together you will agree a plan for remedial treatment. This will also be designed to work towards minimising other disorders in the future.

Every massage treatment is different, depending on the person and their requirement. By working with you the massage can be tailored to your needs using techniques from a variety of massage styles. Massage can help the body recover from injuries. It breaks down scar tissue and increases blood circulation to the tissues which brings oxygen to the tissues and boosts lymphatic flow to relieve inflammation and speed healing

Massage improves the muscular skeletal system by releasing tension in the muscles and this assists joint mobility as well as postural problems. Keeping the muscles supple and stretched can reduce the likelihood of injury and pain whether it is during sport or everyday activities such as upper back and neck pain from using a computer or mobile phone.

Massage has been proven to help the immune system. During massage the brain produces endorphins which help us to relax, reduce anxiety and give a sense of wellbeing. Blended aromatherapy oils are used to complement the massage and enhance treatment.

Reflexology is an ancient therapy which has been practised for over 4000 years . It is thought it was first practised by the ancient Egyptians and also researched and widely used by the Chinese.

Reflexology is a pressure point foot massage. The feet mirror the body and by pressing on certain points it stimulates a reflex action elsewhere in the body. Reflexology relaxes the body and stimulates the body's energy helping the body heal itself and bringing it back into balance. It is a great therapy for relaxation, emotional wellbeing and for many health problems including sinus, digestive, menstrual disorders and migraine, and pain relief from chronic conditions such as arthritis and back pain.

Treatment can be a one-off session, but several sessions are recommended for long lasting benefits especially when treating chronic conditions.
